The Cheese Shed

Established in 2006, The Cheese Shed specialises in the great artisan cheeses from our region: the English Westcountry. Almost all the cheeses we sell come from the four counties of Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset. Alongside the cheese, we also sell a wide range of products to eat and drink with it - all manner of crackers, chutneys, salami, beer, cider, wine etc.rnrnBeginning as online mail order only, we opened a shop in our hometown of Bovey Tracey in 2021. Uniquely in the region, the entire shop is temperature and humidity controlled, with whole cheeses stacked high on the counter and on floor-to ceiling shelves - making a very different experience for customers to that provided by a conventional delicatessen. More recently we have opened a small licensed cafe in our courtyard and barn where we offer extraordinary cheese toasties year-round and platters in the summer.
