    Bovey Tracey gets its name from the river that flows through the westerly edge of the town and the de Tracey family who ruled over the area following the Norman Conquest. Created by the Coronavirus Emergency, Bovey Tracey Town Council is operating a Hardship Fund to help those in need in the Bovey Parish area during the Coronavirus crisis.

The Emergency Fund seeks to ensure the vulnerable residents and those in serious need get the support and urgent assistance they require during the emergency.
