The cafe meets each and every Friday from 2pm - 4pm in the Riverside Community Centre on Station Road, Bovey Tracey unless otherwise advertised. There is no need to book and the cafe is free of charge to attend (accept for chargeable parking nearby.) Run by the volunteer couple of Kevin and Helen Ashford, who themselves have chronic pain conditions and are registered Carers to one another, and with guidance from Elaine Musgrave at Teign Community Voluntary Services, the Templer Way Pain Café has been set up to create a non-judgemental space for people with any disability, chronic illness, or chronic pain condition as well as their Carers, to come and have a cuppa amongst people who understand what it feels like to feel rubbish!
