  • Preparation of a Neighbourhood Plan for Bovey Tracey image 1

Bovey Tracey Town Council wishes to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan and is currently seeking designation of Bovey Tracey Parish as a “Neighbourhood Area”.

As the parish of Bovey Tracey falls partly within Dartmoor National Park (DNP), the Town Council’s request for designation as a Neighbourhood Plan Area has been submitted to both Teignbridge District Council and Dartmoor National Park as the local planning authorities for the area.

In accordance with Regulation 6 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended) Teignbridge District Council are publicising the area application for a minimum period of six weeks from Monday 19 June 2017 until 5pm Monday 31 July 2017 and inviting comment.

Representations on the Bovey Tracey Neighbourhood Area Application should be received by Teignbridge DC no later than 5pm Monday 31 July 2017.  Representations can be submitted to:
