“Local seasonal produce & food, made with love” Our friendly Cafe is set within 250 acres of beautiful parkland on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. The café is open every day for brunch, lunch & afternoon tea with the café transformed to an intimate candlelit Restaurant on Thursday, Friday & Saturday Evenings. Relax with family and friends in a beautiful place. We are supported by the National Trust and are members of Taste of the West. Using rustic, local, seasonal ingredients and slow-cooking techniques, the food manages the rare feat of being reasonably priced and tastes fantastic. With over 85% of produce locally sourced, this is a treasure pot of cooking at its best.
Opening times
We are open every day 10.00am to 5.00pm (10.00am to 4.00pm during the winter months). Lunch is served midday to 3.00pm, with soup, cakes and scones continuing until close.
By night, our beautiful little café becomes a lovely little candle-lit restaurant. We are open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening, serving a 3-course seasonal menu.
